What MMT does
5 active business lines
MMT operates five active commodity business lines: Gold, Fertilizer, Diesel, Copper, and Thermal Coal. Each corridor runs as an independently structured trading operation, connecting African supply with international offtake combined with a directly owned processing asset in the Zambian Copperbelt.
Gold
Physical gold sourced from licensed artisanal and small-scale mining networks in Zimbabwe, one of the fastest-formalizing ASM gold sectors on the continent. MMT's direct producer relationships give it a position most institutional trading houses can't access.
Fertilizer
Urea, MAP, and Ammonium Nitrate, sourced internationally and delivered into Southern African agricultural markets. This corridor connects global fertilizer supply with a region facing a persistent, structural supply gap during key planting windows.
Diesel
EN590 diesel and petrol supply into Southern Africa, structured around long-term offtake relationships rather than one-off cargoes, built to serve a region that imports the large majority of its refined fuel.
Copper
Copper concentrate sourced from licensed artisanal mining pits across the Zambian Copperbelt, third-party toll treated to export specification, an asset-light position that complements MMT's directly owned processing plant in the same region.
Thermal Coal
Washed steam coal of South African origin, delivered to export specification through an established beneficiation and rail logistics chain, supplying international demand alongside long-term utility-grade supply relationships domestically.
